A dream wedding at Jakama Lodge by stunning Lake Karapiro

Their entire day, from getting ready in the morning, right up to their epic party, was all taking place at one venue at stunning Lake Karapiro, New Zealand. Jakama Lodge had everything the couple needed for a day of celebrations with their family and friends.

Preparations took place at the large home with spacious decks, pool area and a lovely little courtyard - ideal for capturing all the gorgeous bridal details and for a dress reveal. A large lawn area with amazing lake views was set up for guests to mingle, with a bar area and a large white marquee, beautifully styled and decorated with colourful florals and touches.

Their ceremony was just a short stroll away towards the water, surrounded by some tall trees that provided this secluded area with plenty of shade. For the bridal party shoot and sunset sneak-out we were able to enjoy the surrounding areas that included a hidden away spot with a little jetty, an orchard, meadows with horses (to Zoe's absolute delight!), a long driveway and path along the bank.

It's so hard to pick our favourite moments, because this wedding really had all the great elements that made this day an absolute pleasure to be a part of! Their fun entourage were all-round entertaining, only needing the slightest cue to party hard! I mean, how often do we see a conga line in full daylight!

Then throw in all the other good bits: confetti, a bottle spray, haka, great speeches, sunset goodness, delicious food and cocktails...
