Hi, we’re Jasper & Hilary.
Our story
A business built on connection and craft.
Following a dream, Jasper moved to New Zealand from the Netherlands in 2014 and soon after met the love of his life, Hilary. We now live in beautiful Raglan and travel around New Zealand and beyond, telling stories for couples, families and brands.
Photo Adventure began while Jasper was working as a Design Director for an Auckland creative agency—first teaching landscape photography and image processing, then growing into wedding and commercial work.
Our backgrounds in design and marketing shape the way we see. Hilary often joins Jasper as a second photographer, finding different angles and beautifully unscripted in-between moments. Together, we make the experience friendly and easy-going while treating every finished image with care.

We want you to feel comfortable, safe and well looked after from the moment you reach out. Humour, gentle guidance and plenty of distraction help everyone settle naturally in front of the camera.
Meaning over performance.
After losing Jasper’s father, photographs took on a deeper importance: they are a celebration of memories that can be held and revisited for generations.
Personally finished.
We carefully select and edit every photograph ourselves. Natural colour and timeless treatment keep the finished story true to how the day actually felt.

Who edits the photographs?
We do. With our design backgrounds, we take pride in carefully selecting and editing every photograph ourselves. We favour natural colour and a timeless feel over heavy filters that can quickly date.
How do we receive our photographs?
You’ll receive an online, password-protected gallery and a download link to full-resolution photographs without watermarks. You’re free to print and share them as much as you wish.
How long does delivery take?
We promise complete wedding results within six weeks, with our average delivery around three to four weeks. We also share a small sneak peek while the excitement is fresh.
Have you photographed at our venue?
There’s a good chance we have, especially around Auckland and Waikato. New locations are equally welcome: we’re accustomed to reading weather, light and surroundings quickly without needing a prior site visit.

Do your wedding packages include prints?
Prints aren’t included by default, but you and your guests can order framed, unframed or matted prints through your Queensberry gallery. We also offer a premium album designed around your favourite images.
